Victorian Professional Photographer of the Year Awards 2011

Congratulations to Kostas Kalantzis of Cache on the recent success at the VPPY Awards for 2011. He received 3 Silver Awards in the Wedding Category and 1 Silver in the Commercial Category.

The Wedding Album of Paul and Julie (slideshow)

Paul and Julie had a very beautiful wedding with a focus on family and traditions in the morning.

Coming from Northern Greece, there were a number of traditions they wanted to observe during the bride's and groom's preparations including shaving the groom and blessing of the breads.

It was then off to St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church in Templestowe for a beautiful ceremony.

Once all blessings were officiated and led by Father Ilias, we headed off to a number of locations for photos including the beach, the Pier Hotel, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Fitzroy Gardens before heading off to Leonda by the Yarra for the celebrations.

The Wedding of Terry and Anita

Terry and Anita were married on the 23rd October 2010. The wedding formalities all started at the Bride's House where the Groom had a "negotiator" arrange for the Bride to come out to the Groom. The Groom and his party were presented with two alternative bride's before Anita finally appeared and took his breath away. After a traditional Croatian "negotiation", a drink (or three), food and celebration (of course) the couple headed off to be married at the St. Mary's Star of the Sea in West Melbourne.

We then proceed to get some amazing shots in Melbourne's CBD as well as Port Melbourne before heading back to The International of Brighton for more festivities and much cheer.

The wedding of Kostas and Anna - Wedding Highlights

Kostas and Anna were married on the 7th February 2010. The ceremony was held at St. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox church in Oakleigh with the reception being held at The Sovereign in Thornbury.

The day was quite emotional; happiness and smiles with relatives from interstate and overseas arriving especially for the big day, and tears with the notable absence of Anna's mother having passed away only 5 months earlier. We know she was there in spirit and smiling on the couple all day with the glorious sunshine.

We then headed off to a couple of locations for photographs - Male St Brighton and The Pier Hotel Port Melbourne.

A special thank you to our Cache staff Nick Critelli on video, Ruben Palermo, Hwa Goh and Daniel Berniard (special guest appearance) on stills, Peter Georgiou (from Enrik Limousines - first outing of his new Cadillac), and Chris from the Sovereign for excellent service as always.

The wedding of Tony and Georgina

Tony and Georgina's wedding day was absolutely amazing. A combination of extremely rich cultures (Greek and Lebanese), their wedding day was always going to be special.

The formalities started with a traditional Antiochian Orthodox wedding in Thornbury. We then headed off to our locations in Docklands and Port Melbourne before making our way to Lakeside Receptions where our beautiful couple made a grand entrance in a way that only Lebanese who how - spectacular.
